This small Hair and Beauty salon is located in a crowded shopping area in downtown Beijing. In contrast with the fast-paced surroundings, noisy streets and multicoloured signage, the salon stands as a calm and restful element, whose design enhances the enjoyment of the beauty treatments offered inside.

AQSO arquitectos office. The floor plan of this hairdressing salon shows the main salon, the private rooms and the toilets.

The façade is a white, illuminated canvas, on which the name of the store is suggestively painted by the shadow of a horizontal metal plate. Inside, the interior design follows the principles of minimalism, highlighting only the essential elements around the customer, and leaving the rest of the space in the background, self-controlled within a sober form.
