While much attention – and some criticism – has been focused on major completed works in China, little is known of those projects that disappear, fizzle out, or sit abandoned.
This publication contains a selection of 12 unbuilt Chinese projects in the last 30 years and includes interviews complementing with the point of view of the architects the working process of each of the projects. The book was launched at the opening of the exhibition entitled with the same name at the Ide@as gallery in Shanghai.
